Further Research aiding our Short Film

'The Bench' - 2009 - Emmanuel GOOSSAERT

•  Short film; 'The Bench' revolves around one location for the whole film.
• This could be particularily inspiring for our piece as, despite various back stories, there is one main location.
• We could take inspiration from this in our 'park bench' similar situation.

'The Bench' also uses similar locations to our proposed locations for example a lone bench that is prone to many passers by that would all come from differing backgrounds.

ABOVE  the bench from the film of the same title. Similar to our location BELOW of a simple place where many passers by are bound to walk past all from differing backgrounds with different lives.

• The film is also similar in terms of strangers passing each other or watching each other, unaware of each other's presence. The film builds on the relationships between strangers and how meeting in one place can start off and build upon a relationship.
• Similarily in our film our male protagonist is able to create relationships with strangers who, like himself, are hiding inner feelings from the world.
