Film Title

Prior to the editing process our film had been called 'See No Evil'

This was because initially the film was going to be about how our male protagonist character had the ability to imagine what 'evil' people walking past were really getting up to in their hidden lives e.g. a Christian girl hiding a teenage pregancy.

However we decided to change. The film is now called 'Blind Eye'. We decided to change the title for a number of reasons:

- We realised that most of the acts our characters were involved in did not consist of them actually committing 'evil'.

* A post-traumatic stress disorder suffering soldier is not shown committing any evil only haunted by the horrific images he's seen at war.

* Our bullied teen is not committing any act of evil and is the victim of other people's abusive actions.

* Our office worker is not commiting any evil, he is bored in his office job dreaming of being a superhero!

* Even our pregnant teen is not committing evil. Where pregnancy before marriage in her characters Christian religion is a sin it is not her personally committing 'evil'

* It is also not for us to dictate what is considered 'evil'

* The film is not about our male prtagonist combatting evil

The film has been changed to 'Blind Eye' and this new name is refers to how our male protagonist imagines the problems these characters experience in their lives. Characters walking past that maybe ordinary people would turn a blind eye to not imagining the hidden live sof these people.

- Our film can be seen to play on the  childs game, Theatre of Life, whereby watching strangers walk past the player is able to make up voices and thoughts of the people walking past.

_ Our film is much like this game. Our male protagonist is watching strangers walk past, imagining their life stories as a child would playing theatre of life. We see what he imagines is happening in their lives.

- Many normal people would turn a blind eye to a stranger and think nothing of them walking past. Our male protagonist sits to watch passers by and imagine their hidden lives

  1. doesn't blind eye refer to Turning a blind eye. You see something and ignore it whereas you should really intervene? therefore, not sure that the title works given the context.

  2. It can also apply to that as well. Our characters are all in their own situations on their own. Pregnant teen has no one to turn to, the soldier suffers from his post-traumatic stress by himself and our bullied teen is stranded surrounded by haunting voice sin our head. A strange way of seeing it but our characters have been ignored by society. The office workes dreams of being a superhero are quite deviant from the norm, especially being an office worker and he would be shunned from society for dreaming of such abnormal ideas. In a way society is turning a blind eye to these characters as they are left to deal with their personal dilemmas alone
